Traditional, always an absolute winner! How can dates be so yummy??? They're like shrivelled ants and yet put them in a pudding and BAM! Best thing in the world!

I wish I could invite you all in when we cook this - the aroma of 70 kilos of Sticky Date Pudding cooking all at once is intoxicating and drives me to distraction every time!

We have Butterscotch Sauce available too if you need (and who doesn't need Butterscotch sauce??) We sell this cake naked (not us - we've got hair nets on.)
You can add as much ice-cream or cream on your pudding at home as your heart desires.
